Visited sterling Kodai by the lake in end Jan , the resort is centrally located just opposite kodai lake (walkable distance yet away from bustles of the lake!). The resort has well appointed rooms , great restaurant, gym , activity center,spa and ample car park (although it is just outside the resort but safe). The check-in process was seamless , thanks to Ameena and team who did a great job. We had our breakfast and dinner at sterlings lakeview restaurant..the taste and variety was very good and we felt at home..chef Anilkumar and team did a great job..the ghee podi uttapam or the fantastic masala poha or the pav bhaji or the paneer paratha or the yummy banana cake each was better than the other and cost wise it is very competitively priced especially when you consider the hygiene and the taste and the hospitalityof chef Anil..i would def recommend eating at the restaurant while you stay.
We stayed in the twin cottage and again the room was tidy and the house keeping staff Madasamy did a fantasric job.
The activities centre has a small library and the collection of books kept my daughter busy.
All the staff are vaccinated and follow covid protocal religiously.
In all it was a relaxing and well enjoyed break and i am looking forward to my next trip to kodai in the winters.
Protip – Room 122 , 123 , 124 and 125 have great lake view
