We enjoyed our stay at Sterling yelagiri.
The resort had a 4 feet swimming pool and a kid pool, spa, activity room – which had board games (carrom, chess, etc) and equipments for badminton, cricket, volleyball. a seperate room for table tennis, and a restaurant area for dining.
The food at sterling is delish and pocket friendly. The restaurant offers a la carte and buffet services as well, during our stay of 3 night we covered the whole menu almost. Sweet corn soup, kadai vegetable, fulka, dal tadka, fried rice, pulao, mix sauce pasta, spaghetti, club sandwich are a must try. They didn’t have tandoor items available.
For breakfast, we opted for buffet which had bread, jam, toast, fruits (pineapple, watermelon), fruit juice, sambar, idly, Vada, chutney, poha/semiya, pongal, baked beans, grilled tomato, baked herb potato, oatmilk, live dosa counter, coffee, tea. The options were vast and everything tasted good, specially south Indian.
A shoutout to the F&B team for managing the restaurant so well. Special mention to
Kumaresh – manager and staff members
Athul, Vishnu, Augustine, Rahul for great service.
Rooms were specious and comfortable. It had a glass door balcony, with a provision for extra bed/sofa and a coffee table for two.
In the reception front desk Hussain was very kind to assist and guide us with a list of places to visit in Yelagiri and offered certain coupons to avail discount. Carolyn was super sweet and friendly.
As a token of gestures, they gifted us a sapling which brings back great memories of our stay there.
