We stayed in the TreeTop rooms for 2 days.
Room is well-sized and clean. Has 3 beds and is comfortable for 3 medium sized adults. A 4th adult in same room will be crowded, but a small child can be accommodated along with 3 adults. There is a table, chair, cupboard and shoe rack in the room. Hot water was available and it is an AC room. There is a sit-out with 2 chairs where one can relax. Clean linen, towels. They don’t have in-room tea coffee machine. But we did not mind. The views from the sit-out are of surrounding farms and central nature area where there are many trees and gnarled branches. In the morning it would be misty and nice. We liked the views.
We had taken the plan with breakfast & dinner included. Food is very tasty and plenty. On one day when we were the only family, they served us thali for dinner. It was buffet breakfast on both days. Breakfast had 2 savory options, 1 sweet, fruits, tea, eggs to order and bread butter jam. The staff is hospitable, smiling & caring and polite. They also offered us non-veg. But we did not want. In the morning they quietly place morning tea in thermos outside the cottage. We paid separately for high-tea.
They have well organized activities. We enjoyed archery and valley crossing since it was included in our package. They take good care of safety. They have other activities too that you can take up. There is play area for kids. There is a pool, but they had not started it when we went. If pool is important for you then please enquire before going. We did not need it. They also have carrom and table tennis area. If you are a bigger group or there are many guests, they do organize music, treasure hunt and nature walk.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay. We enjoyed the hospitality and the facilities provided.
There is the very nice Sajan dam around 6 mins drive. It is very pleasant there in the evenings and mornings. Aamrai restaurant around 5 mins drive serves good food and has good seating arrangement. We had lunch there on the way to Sterling. Jawhar is around an hour away and there are good places to visit in Jawhar (JaiVilas palace, Shirpamal, Hanuman Point, Sunset Point, Kal Mandvi falls and Dabhosa falls post rains). When we went in Apr there was no waterfall, but there was water pool at the base. We ate at Vishal dhabas on the day sightseeing at Jawhar while returning back to Sterling Sajan.
