Had a wonderful time at Sterling Resorts, Karwar.
The room on the 4th floor had a nice view of the Highway and the greenery around with a partial view of the Sea.
We stayed for 4 nights , the dinner was at the resort.
We got Fresh fish curry and fish fry local style organised by the Resort Manager, Mr Rajesh.
The preparation by Mr Gajanan and Mr Rane both locals, gave the authentic taste of local preparation .
On our last day, in the evening the Resort Manager took me to the local fish market. He bought fresh fish and shells and again we had a treat of wonderful local preparation.
This is the first time in all our stays at Sterling Karwar we could have food the local style .
We have stayed at Sterling Resorts Karwar
atleast on 6-7 occasions before.
The menu , the price of each dish never made it attractive to have any meals at the resort earlier. Now it is different,I would advise people travelling in that region to stay and enjoy the food at the resort.
Mr Rajesh, showed me around the resort and the new cottages which are getting ready will be the next big attraction of this Resort . The landscape and activities would be added.
They will also be having an open air resturant adjoining the Karwar-Goa highway, should be ready in another 2-3 months ( October end /November2022) which would serve local food , thali at very affordable prices and in a hygienic environment.
We normally spend 2-3 nights at Karwar and then proceed to Sterling,,Varca for 3-4 nights.
May now stay for more days in Karwar and less in Goa.
Overall a fabulous stay. Thanks to Rajesh sir, Mr Rane and Mr Gajanan, the front office staff . Wilma a very old staff at Karwar, Parveen and the others
