I have travelled to Kalimpong with my family earlier. This time we chose to stay at the Sterling Park. We were grandly rewarded for this decision. The old world charm which has been retained in this property is the major attraction. Just by entering its front gates you are transferred to a colonial age Bungalow with its long shaded porch overlooking a sunny and happy lawn area.
We stayed in the new wing of the property and had a deluxe suite room at our disposal. The beauty of the room was its view . We had excellent view of the Sunrise from the comfort of the rooms .
Now for the accommodations. The rooms are very well maintained and furnished. The views across is breathtaking from the room . They provide extra cots and here I found the extra cots are equally comfortable as their main beds.
The next major attraction of this property is its food . They make a wide variety of cuisines as per your request and as per your taste. The breakfast buffet is very nice with just the required items for a healthy and fulfilling breakfast.
Finally the staffs . This is something extraordinary as they were all very good. Starting from the front office executive to the GM MR. Manoj who is a Sterling veteran . They are always willing to help you with a big smile on their face.
I loved my 3 nights at Sterling Park and will come back again .
