Our stay in Sterling Puri was very pleasant. The property is beautiful, just on the coast. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant food is great and the buffets have a great variety, for different age groups. The art shop at the reception has great art pieces for sale. The spa services are amazing, the therapists are specialists.
The highlight is the ever smiling and helping staff. The reception staff – Amina and others helped with questions related to sightseeing too. All restaurant staff – Deepak, Lizalin, Gayatri, Noor were very hospitable. I inquired with Lopamudra, a staff from the restaurant,if they serve jhal mudi here. She said, they don’t, but it can be done. Next day, she sent someone specially in the market to buy the materials required for jhal mudi and asked the chef to prepare it specially for me. She served it at dinner as a surprise. This gesture just warmed my heart. Thank you, Lopamudra!
There are mosquitoes in the common areas, even though it’s pretty clean. If the resort can do something about this, it would be great. The swimming pool didn’t seem clean enough, so we skipped using it.
Other than that, we had a wonderful time at Sterling Puri, we highly recommend it.
