We were in search of a resort where we could stay for a couple of days amidst nature in peaceful environment and our search on internet ultimately zeroed on Sterling Corbett Resort. I along with my wife visited the resort from 9th to 12th January, 2023.
We spent some wonderful time at the resort, mingling with like-minded people, be these tourists or staff of the resort, and enjoyed the surroundings. We went for brief walks around the resort to enjoy nature.
We relished resort’s breakfast where a large variety of tasty eatables and drinks for every palate were present. On our request , resort agreed to serve lunch and dinner in our room.
We are thankful to Mr. Pramod Tripathi, who answered every quary of ours, which we made before our visit to the resort. On our arrival at the resort, we were greeted by Mr. Rajan Singh Bhakuni and Mr. Manish Kandpal, who listened to and solved our problems in no time. We very much appreciate their concern for us.
While the resort is beautifully constructed, we find that there is a need for a few (one or two) brighter lights (lamps) in rooms and comfortable easy chairs to sit and relax. After staying in a number of guest houses/resorts, a question still remains unanswered: why resorts/guest houses provide different types of games in close proximity to tourist rooms and cottages creating an uneasy and noisy atmosphere for those who visit the resort to spend some time in solitude and peaceful environment?
