Our stay was between Feb-end and March-beginning just before the peak season began. I had booked a premier room because there were 3 adults and I wanted a bigger room than the standard one. To our pleasant surprise, we got upgraded to one of the property’s cottages, which are basically 1bhk suites! The reception staff had noticed that I was travelling with senior citizen parents and voluntarily offered the upgrade because the cottages are easier to access than the premier rooms which are further away and require a lot of climbing (as the resort is on a hill, the various rooms and suites are at different heights).
The property and the suite itself was fabulous, with great views… I’ve shared some pics. The restaurant food is also of very good quality and taste, although the lunch and dinner menu options are limited (also expensive… But you really overlook it when you see the overall quality of service). The main food highlight is the morning buffet breakfast, which has a huge variety, and every item is delicious.
What made our stay so memorable was the wonderful and helpful behaviour of all staff members at every level – from reception to housekeeping to restaurant. It gave us a very cosy and homely feeling among the 4-star amenities.
