The stay at the Sterling Kodai Lake resort was nothing short of a dream. The property is very well-maintained. The gardens are a soothing sight. The rooms that look like mini-cottages framed by flowers, ferns and arches make it look like a scene from out of a fairytale. It’s a haven for poets, writers, artists or just anyone who wants to immerse themselves in nature.
There is a vantage point with seats from where you can enjoy a view of the lake. The property is about 10 minutes from the Lake.
The resort also plans a lot of activities like Housie and DJ night for the guests. Let’s just say they know how to plan your holiday!
The resort was fully booked when we went, so the food took a little extra time to arrive but it was worth the wait. Every dish was well-made. The staff were on their feet trying to ensure all the tables were served in time.
The Tea Kadai is a fantastic concept. Hot hot bajjis with tea/coffee is the best way to satiate your late afternoon cravings in the chill weather.
The staff are warm, cheerful and courteous. They go out of their way to ensure your comfort. The Resort Manager, Mr. Amar nath, was interacting with the guests and ensuring that all was in order. It was nice to see a resort manager who adopted a hands-on leadership style and was easily approachable by guests.
I would like to appreciate the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff as well as the front desk.
