We visited ReWild Sariska for 3 days in July 2024. We had 3 rooms – the Stallion rooms. We had a very memorable time at the resort and enjoyed our stay there.
The location is very scenic – it is in the middle of the Aravallis with close access to Sariska National Park and other places for historic interest such as Viratnagar. There are a lot of local historical places to visit such as Ashoka Shilalekh, the famous Ganesh temple at Viratnagar, etc. It is also close to places such as Bhangarh fort (touted as one of the most haunted places in India),Silisedh Lake, Dadhikar fort, etc.
The rooms itself are quite spacious, clean and well maintained. The staff is very attentive and always eager to assist. We visited in July when the weather is typically very hot and humid – we looked forward to relaxing in our air conditioned and comfortable rooms after a long day of sightseeing. Room service would change our towels every day and if required our sheets too.
Now coming to the highlight of our stay – the FOOD!!! The onsite restaurant is truly phenomenal! This is a very positive point because there isn’t much close by, and one needs to rely on the restaurant. We ate at least two meals every day at the restaurant and enjoyed each one. The breakfast spread was amazing and different each day – besides the usual bread, cereal, tea-coffee and omelette on demand, they always had 3-4 items at the buffet station such as idili chutney sambhar,fresh garama-garam aaloo paranthas, dalia. Another says we had vermicelli upma, dhokla, paranthas. They also had fresh cut papaya and fruit juice available. It was AMAZING!!!
And the service at the restaurant was truly amazing: the servers Mukta Prasad Sharma (Panditji) and Narendra were so attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. They catered to our every need.
Narendra ji was very nice and one night arranged for daal baati and choorma (traditional Rajasthani specialty) and it was absolutely lip smacking good! I highly recommend trying this during our stay – make sure you inform them ahead of time so they can accommodate your request if it is not on the menu that day. Another positive is that the restaurant is open till quite late – 10/10.30. Make sure you let them know if you are running late and they will accommodate if possible.
A few things that can be improved: it is quite a walk from the reception/car to the rooms and the walkway is not smooth – the staff help you with your luggage, but it would be very helpful if they had a golf cart or something to drive people and their luggage from the reception to the rooms. We had a stroller and were able to manage but it definitely can be improved. This can be a concern for older people as it is quite a walk.
Overall, we loved our experience at ReWild Sariska and would highly recommend visiting it.
