General:
Sterling Lake-view is located in excellent surroundings, full of greenery around – perhaps the best amongst all Sterling properties that we have been to. One breaths in fresh air.
Rooms:
Rooms we stayed in are very nice, clean and comfortable.
Housekeeping:
Housekeeping is very alert and responsive to your calls without delay.
Special mention is to Elizabeth who made us comfortable and cleaned and maintained our rooms in top condition.
Restaurant and Service:
Restaurant is kept very clean. Kitchen too is neat and clean. Staff is in fresh in clean dress and serves with a smile.
The culinary experience was exceptional, largely thanks to Chef Sahil and Chef Nitesh, who created delicious dishes with a blend of local flavors and international cuisine. They were attentive to our preferences and made dining a memorable part of our stay. Breakfast was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of fresh options.
Services:
The service was outstanding, with Mr. Bakul and Kunal going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Their hospitality made a significant difference, from the smooth check-in process to helpful recommendations for local activities. We shall be failing if we did not mention Jancy who singularity served us with apt attention and smile.
General Manager Umesh Chandratre was very polite and courteous and easily approachable – unlike General Managers at most hospitalities. He took suggestions with open mind.
All good things do have some needs for improvement as nothing is or can be perfect. These suggestions may be taken with a smile and open mind :-
1. Water in the baths is cold and one has to waste a lot of water to get even luke warm water. WATER IS A VERY PRECIOUS COMMODITY. WE SHOULD PRESERVE IT LEST OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS SHOULD BE TOTALLY DEPRIVED OF THIS PRECIOUS COMMODITY. STATES OF TAMIL NADU AND KARNATAKA ARE AT WAR WITH EACH OTHER FOR WATER ONLY.
My suggestion is “Instant GeyseR” should be installed at a small cost in the bathrooms to conserve water
2. Vehicles coming to load or unload guests are kept “switched on” unwittingly thereby polluting the atmosphere as also the lobby. The guests may be requested politely but firmly to switch off the vehicles while loading and unloading. A placard may be put something like this:
“BE KIND TO MOTHER NATURE. SWITCH OFF THE VEHICLE.”
Overall, Sterling Kodai Lake Resort excels in both food and service, making it a perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!
