The Wonderful team at Fernhill,
I had the opportunity to stay with you for 3 nights from the 17th September to the 20th of September 2025 with my wife and my daughter and it was truly a nostalgic and memorable short vacation.
It was truly nostalgic to be staying at a property where I was part of the pre-opening team way back in 1993. The walk around the property, where we had rooms converted to the reception and office was truly a memory that came to life while seeing the same place where I had spent time working and serving our customers!
I also had the opportunity to fly my drone around the property with the permission from Mr. Naveen Mohan, the dynamic and focused General Manager! The drone shots which I was able to capture of the property and the surroundings will surely remain in my memories for years to come rekindling the memories of the hard work and time put in at the hotel during our times!
I would like to mention that the entire team at the Resort left no stone unturned to ensure that my family and me had the most memorable stay at the Resort during our 3 days!
The food at the resort was really great and special thanks to the Chef, his wonderful team and the F&B service team who where so much with us to ensure that everything was taken care of!
The rooms were well appointed and stocked, but would say personally that it is surely time for some refurbishment and if done will surely give you back a much higher ADR and I am sure that the guest experiences would be much much higher! I am surely not saying that anything was bad but just a suggestion for the better!
All this said, my family and me would like to thank the efforts and commitment of Mr Naveen the GM, The Resort Manager, The FOM, The Executive Chef, The EHK, The Spa Manager, and the entire team for all the support, attention and service that we are truly indebted!
Thankyou so much wonderful team and would surely look forward to be with you next time we plan for Ooty.
