We had come to the Sterling resort at Corbett, Marchula for a short getaway during the Christmas break. My partner and I enjoyed it so much that we actually extended our stay and if prior commitments weren't there, we would have extended it again.
A special mention to all the staff who made this possible. At the reception Mr. Bhaskar Joshi went out of his way to accommodate us in a cottage of our choice. At the restaurant, due to my partner's dietary requirements (Gluten and lactose sensitivity), the chef and the waiting staff catered to these special needs. Both the chefs Mr. Ganesh and Mr. Lalit made special meals for us.
A special thanks to the restaurant manager Mr. Lalit who ensured that all our requests were taken care of and he always did this with a smile . Also thanks to Mr. Vishal and Mr. Surender who waited on us, took extra care to ensure that our needs were met, and treated us with warmth.
We travel quite frequently and we've never encountered such a pleasant and accommodating set of hosts.
If you have special dietary needs and are unsure if a resort can cater to it, then the Sterling at Marchula is one such place where you wouldn't need to worry. Topped with the wonderful walking trails and the scenic expanse, this is a place you wouldn't want to miss.
