Their customer service was simply outstanding. I was huffing and puffing when I checked in. They asked me to wait, relax, and gave me warm beverage to cool me down. They showed no urgency in checking in. Similarly, housekeeping was excellent. Room was cleaned regularly and new water bottles kept even though I did not consume the already available ones. Speaking of water bottles, packaged drinking water was available everywhere. One could also carry them from lobby during local sightseeing, after checkout, etc.
Food was awesome, although a wee bit costly. They had a sprawling menu. No preservatives or artificially flavour added in any of the food.
Each room had climate controller – both AC and heater. So, one need not have to be worried about the chilling winter months. Dental kit, shaving kit – you name it, you have it. Television had many channels from all languages – sufficient to keep one entertained.
This resort is located at stone’s distance away from Ghum station. Hence, it can be easily reached on walk. Ghum is located at highest altitude of Darjeeling hills. Hence, the weather would always be pleasant round the year. The resort offers a beautiful view of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
