Sterling Orange Village in Gangtok is a property sprawled across acres with all amenities and comforts you expect from a star rated hotel.
I visited with my family and celebrated my milestone birthday there. I had one of the most wonderful experiences of staying in the property.
The rooms were spacious with awesome mountain view. I especially judge a hotel by its bed and this one surely met my standard of comfort.
Let me now speak about the service. It is impeccable. The staffs are friendly and courteous and ever ready to help. We were stuck in Gangtok due to landslide and roadblocks and the support provided by the hotel, from extending the stay in the same room to packing breakfast at 2 am for our journey down are commendable. My thanks goes out to manager Rohit and his staffs for maintaining such excellent operation.
The F&B manager Abhijit ensured all our requests related to food were met. He even went out of the way to prepare a special dish for my birthday! The breakfast buffet was awesome with unusual dishes like Rajasthani parantha and balma kachori in the menu. Thanks to him and the chef and the restaurant staffs for everything.
