Being member of RCI We stayed in Studio 102 facing lake for 4N/5D in last week of Apr22. Stay was excellent because of cleanliness, cooperative & helpful staff, delicious meals & beautiful surroundings.Being interested in wild life & birding Sterling Kanha was heaven for us. Even though we did 6 salaries no Tiger was sighted but nontheless whatever little time we got first & last half days & 2-3 hr between 2 safaries we identified more than 25 species of birds mostly by sitting in the balcony as the mango tree was just next to it. Species like Iora, Indian paradise flycatcher, purple sunbird, Tickell’s blue flycatcher, Ashy prinia, Indian white eye, Common hawk cuckoo, pond heron, Ashy Drongo, Greater coucal, India Robin, Grey hornbill etc. I felt I should have opted for 4 safaries instead of 6 & would have done more birding in resort campus itself. Thanks for good landscape planning with good maintenance. Sterling Kanha deserves extra star for the same.
