I am writing to share the Golden Memories that we would cherish throughout the rest of our lives which we have brought back from Sterling Lake Palace Resort & Spa, Alleppey.
My wife, Rabjeet – had been to Kerala in 2012 from her then Employer – Vodafone Essar Cellular Ltd for a award ceremony and as a part of the prize she & her colleague had got a 3 nights & 4 days package tour of Kerala and it was then that she had visited Sterling Lake Palace for the 1st time and liked it immensely. When she returned back she was all bonkers about the natural beauty treasures of Kerala and she couldn’t stop talking about Sterling and went on & on for days-n-weeks together.
This year, on her 40th birthday she expressed her wish to celebrate in Sterling Lake Palace, Alleppey along with our family, friends & our beloved pet (Snow). In accordance with the same I made the bookings with the help & guidance of Ms.Shruti Shreya. Thereafter I again connected with her after receiving my Holiday Voucher of the booking and explained to her the reason for our travel & requested for some special arrangements for my wife’s birthday celebration & she shared the contact details of Mr.Aalush thereby (Never thought that he would be so humble and resourceful) . I connected with Mr. Aalush and shared our travel details and the reason for our travel and he guided us accordingly.
We reached Sterling Lake Palace, Alleppey on 20th and Mr.Aalush was co-ordinating with me throughout our journey whilst making the special arrangements simultaneously for the Special cake, decorations etc & i was relieved with the efforts that Mr.Aalush put in to ensure that everything was perfectly done and that the birthday girl would be pleasantly surprised and delighted with all the arrangements.
When we reached the resort, the first thing i did was to enquire for Aalush and he was sitting right there adjacent to the reception and was busy on calls from other clients maybe, but we met as if we knew each other from years together & i was more relaxed that i had connected with the right person and everything would be as expected.
Our visit started with a ferry ride in Vembanad lake after a hearty cup of coffee and snacks. The ride was not just a tick on the card but a good 1 hr trip in the beautiful lake enjoying the scenic view of the sunset and lovely cool breeze amidst some drizzles pouring on us. We returned back to the deck and there was a Cart to take us to our superior Lake view rooms that I had booked as guided by Ms.Shruti. On reaching the apartment, as my wife opened the room, she was more than delighted and mesmerized with the lovely decorations that Mr.Aalush & team had put up and was as happy as a lark.
After a short relaxation we all got dressed up for the main event and reached the reception. We all, including me, were taken by surprise when we learnt that the Coffee shop was especially decorated for us for a wonderful celebration, and it was simply unbelievable. We had a great birthday celebration with the most lovely and delicious cake that Mr.Aalush had arranged and loved the gesture of all the efforts put in by him and his team as though it was our own family member. We celebrated the great evening with the best food and drinks we could’ve ever had. This didn’t stop here & the breakfast buffet the next morning with the superb view of the Sunrise along with a delicious spread was the Cherry-on-the-cake.
The entire staff of Sterling was very humble and courteous and we will cherish these lovely memories forever. I thank Mr.Aalush for extending his help in every manner & wish that Sterling keeps creating such lifelong memories for every visitor & grows mutifold in every nook & corner of the globe under the supervision and management of great & humble employees like Mr.Aalush.
Once again, I thank the entire team & management of Sterling Lake Palace Resort, Alleppey for everything & a special thanks to Mr.Aalush once again.
