fabulous holiday

my wife & I were at the Sterling Holiday Resort at Mt. Abu during 14th ~ 18th December , 2021  together with 4 of our friends .

We all were very keen for this trip to take  place after 2 cancellations earlier due to Covid restrictions .

I must admit on behalf of our group that we had a great & fabulous holiday for which honestly we may not have enough words to describe .

Simply , the Resort property

>Has a great & isolated location with beautiful views all around

>Has a wonderful layout and is well spread out

>Has a very Customer sensitive team of thoroughly professional people across each of the operational functions .

Having stayed in many of the Sterling Resorts all over the country , I have no doubts in expressing our total delight & more than expected satisfaction during our stay at Mt. Abu .

The initial welcome by the Front Office team during our check in was very warm &pleasant . And the response time for any issue by Mr. Samir Das & his team was always very quick .

May I also mention that in comparison with all our stays at other Sterling Resorts so far , this was the first instance of any direct interaction with the Executive Chef , who would walk across the tables & directly seek customer feedback . We have always been used to ordering food from the Menu Card , but at Mt. Abu , the Executive Chef Mr. Biplab Biswas would personally recommend and convince us to try experimental & tastier versions of the Menu Card options .

The smiling faces & the energetic courtesy of Mr. Mallick’s F & B team added the extra spice to our food .

Also , I don’t remember seeing the Housekeeping Head , at any of the Sterling Resorts so far , moving around the entire premises & checking things personally . The Executive Housekeeper , Mr. Kartick Ghosh could be seen around the Resort supervising his team .

Being a strong advocate and passionate about ” Quality “  as an essential tool to enhance Customer Satisfaction and consequently enhance business opportunities & as ( perhaps ) the first Indian to head the fully owned Indian subsidiary of a large Japanese MNC , I must emphatically mention that I have been totally impressed with the enthusiasm , motivation and commitment of all the Resort team members .

Importantly , it was not just our Group that felt thoroughly pampered ; it was the same energy & enthusiasm for most of the other guests as well & I was also witness on many occasions to see the Guests complimenting the Exec Chef , the Front Office team , ……….. .

Undoubtedly , this was our best holiday amongst the ones at the many Sterling Resorts , in recent times , and whilst we would like to visit Mt. Abu again & again , I take the liberty to convey our sincere appreciation & gratitude to the Resort GM ,  Mr. Rajib Sarkar and his entire team for exceeding our expectations & trust that our delight , satisfaction and happiness are conveyed appropriately to each of the SHR , Mt. Abu team members .
