The essence of a holiday is how you feel during the stay and after. You really don’t have to be specific, it is the whole experience. If you feel a warm glow of happiness, then it is all because of the hundreds of things the staff do to make you feel good.
Sterling Mount Abu is a well maintained property. Everything works. The staff are diligent and sincerely hospitable. This is not an act. They are all lovely people with a natural propensity to engage with and make guests feel comfortable.
The house keeping staff, Dinesh was handling our room, was on their toes and super responsive.
The restaurant team, Pravakar, Gaurav, Mayank, Ravindra and the ever smiling Chef Dwarika were all outstanding. The food was top notch.
The front office manager Samir was pleasant and efficient. And a special mention of their GM. Ashish. He is a complete hands-on person. You could find himnall over the property, overlooking maintenance work, looking at paper work at the reception and standing at the lobby interacting with guests. That is why this property is doing so well. It is packed all the time, that too despite the approach road damage due to the recent rains.
I only wish that the internet was better. This is a weak link.
Overall a hugely satisfying holiday. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to take a holiday in Mt Abu. If you are not a Sterling member, if you are a traveling type young person, this is a good time to consider becoming a member. It is excellent value, and as you get older it gets better.
