Amazing place to stay at the cradle of western ghats surrounded by forests you are often waken up in the morning by the beautiful song of whistling thrush….being a birder sterling munnar is a gold mine of birds from the more common Red whiskered Bulbul, southern hill myna, vernal hanging parskeets to the Rare Nilgiri Sholakioi, White Bellied Sholakili all have made their residents here. With good food and hospitable staff this will be one of my favourite sterling resorts that I have visited. Mr.Christopher from sterling our birding guide was very enthusiastic is helping us spot the birds around. This place is a must visit to relax and be part of nature if you want to destress from the hustle and bustle of city life.
