Located in the mountains with a great view from all units. The staff is wonderful, always ready with a smile and willing to help and correct any potential misfortunes. The pictures on the website are all true! It is that pretty.
Our 1 bedroom suite was beautiful and spacious. Bed is comfortable; The bathroom/washroom had all modern fixtures. There is a grab bar in the shower, but the floor did not have non-slip strips. The room is equipped with tea kettle, minifridge, microwave, fans in sitting room and bedroom, air conditioning in both rooms. Internet worked well, with three 5-second stutters in a 2 1/2 hour movie on the free version. There are TVs also in both rooms. And there a viewing balcony.
There are indoor and outdoor playgrounds for the children, an adventure course, including a zipline and an indoor recreation room. I did not seen any videogames. There is a small exercise room with 1 elliptical, 1 bike and 1 treadmill. I never saw anyone in it. There are some historical and ornithological exhibits of interest spread throughout the resort. Birds are abundant.
The onsite restaurant has an good selection of high quality Indian, local, Indochen and European foods, including a buffet at breakfast and dinner times. We ate mostly there and did not go into town. By Indian standards pricing was a little on the high side but cheap compared to American prices.
My only concern about this place is that a good part of it is not wheelchair accessible; it is built on the side of a mountain and most of the rooms are accessible by stairs. There are some rooms that can be accessed by lift/elevator; I did not see the inside of those rooms. Also some of the stairs did not have adequate railing; as a senior citizen, this was a concern for me.
The resort is about 2 kilometers from Mall Road in Mussoorie. We were able to walk there without difficulty; the resort can arrange taxi if needed. Mall Road is the major shopping district in Mussoorie that runs through the heart of town. Many other activities/attractions stem off of Mall Road.
However, the resort is on the opposite end of Mussoorie from Landour, where Lal Tibba, Kellogg Church, Laudour Bakehouse are located.
