We went as a family of 7 members. We were really looking forward to our trip to explore Ooty. We stayed for 4 nights. The entire team of resort made our trip worth it. The staff is super courteous, helpful and went extra way to meet our family needs. The restaurant Nilgiri (Mr Manav and all other members) prepared special meals as my wife has certain dietary restrictions and also made special meals beyond the menu for my 5-year-old son. Breakfast and dinner buffet spread is good. The discovery activity center is filled with activities not only for children but also for adults. They took special care of our child with lots of painting and art activities, which my son enjoys a lot. Special thanks to Mr Sachin from discovery center who is super friendly. He kept us updated about our child’s status which made us feel assured. My son had the best time with him. Also, Thanks to Mr Ashwin and other members at front desk who is highly proactive and helpful. The housekeeping team asked us every day about the convenient time to make the room, unlike other hotels which had fixed schedules. Even the GM Ms. Roshni came to check on us every day to seek feedback about our stay which is commendable. Overall, i highly recommend this property. Very close to city center as well. The rooms were clean and with all amenities needed. A complete family destination with amazing destination. I highly recommend it. Note: They have other property under name “Fern hill” which is not so much recommended as it needs much improvement as compared to “elk hill” where we stayed. So read the names carefully to avoid confusion when you book.
