We visited Sterling Fern Hill, Ooty in May 2022. It is a beautiful property located in the scenic landscapes of Ooty. At fern hill you are surrounded by lush green trees and beautifully maintained gardens with multi coloured flowers most of which I am sure most city folks hardly get a chance to see.
The stay has been wonderful. The staff is extremely courteous, attentive, caring and polite. Everyone at the front office have been super helpful especially Shaziya, Premkumar, Goutham and team. The travel desk has been managed very well by Nagraj.
The restaurant has been managed really well under the ever so watchful eye of Mr. Yogesh. He has been very prompt and very helpful. The kitchen is managed excellently, serving the best of breakfasts and a wide range of delicious lunch and dinner menus. A special mention to Chef Jeet Kumar who has been very courteous from day one ( special thanks to Yogesh for introducing us to him ) He really is a gem of a person, giving each and every table special attention making sure the menu is tailor made for all. The most wonderful thing we found about him was that he always took out time to make sure that everyone was more than satisfied with the food. He even took special efforts to personally cater to the food for our super picky 3 year old, leaving in turn us parents very happy.
A special thanks to the activities staff including Vignesh and team who have always been very accomodating and super polite and fun to deal with. The housekeeping staff Ms. Ranju and Prabin are also very prompt and sincere at their job.
All in all a wonderful stay ! Would highly recommend it to all. One of the best managed places of the many Sterling properties indeed ! Truly a 5 star experience !
