MYSELF Dr.Urmila while staying at the Sterlung
Resort,Fern Hill ,Ooty consulted Mr.Vignesh at the resort
activity centre about the possibility of some adventure in
the beautiful Nilagiri mountains…Immediately He
suggested a trek to Hanuman cave on the mountain
top..I was excited but I was bit hesitant abt the early mng
7am trek as I had to take my kids aged 10and 7..But
Mr.Vignesh gave me the assurance and confidence by
explaining that trek will around the mountain.to top…and
not a steep trek which would have been impossible..
Next day Sun was already shining at 7am..and we
were ready..Mr.Vignesh guided us on his bike to the foot
hill…We got down frm car ND initially shocked to see the
huge mountain…ND started climbing…we were welcomed
by a statue of Hanuman….kids were really excited…we
further continued the trek and Vignesh explained about
the each bird we saw…and also beautiful wild
Roses…Nilagiri leaves…lemon grass..
My 19yrs old son was very happy to see
birds:wild flowers…next we reached the cave of
Hanuman…we had a nice view frm top…we further trekked
to top ND we saw the Blue mountain express far below
..vignesh explained abt the train..
At the end we felt blessed…by nature…Don’t miss the trek….
