Our group of 8 adults had booked 4 rooms at the Sterling Park Kalimpong & we stayed stayed for 3 nights during 1st week of Dec 2022. We were unanimous in our ranking of this resort as one of the best in its class. The ambience of the Heritage wing where our rooms were located was comfortable & provided all modern amenities including luxurious beds, shining clean toilets , sofas to lounge on as well as room heaters in all rooms. The service was unobtrusive but prompt & Rinchen Sherpa at the Reception, with his ever smiling face, was always ready to cater to our slightest whims- whether for hiring cars for local sightseeing or for setting up mobile wi-fi connections or for sharing any interesting local info. The restaurant & bar services were impeccable too & Sneha as well as Sajan did their best to satisfy our groups’ varied tastes for food & drinks.
If you wish to stay in a heritage resort at Kalimpong offering excellent views of the Kanchenjunga range as a bonus, go for this!!! You will love it !
