We stayed at the resort for a full week, which was booked as an exchange holiday through RCI!
We were first accommodated in a one bedroom apartmen where 4 persons can sleep with full privacy for 2. It also had a small dining area with fridge, electric kettle, sink and microwave oven! However, we wanted to move to the sea facing rooms.
The management was very responsive and moved us to the room nearest to the sea! The bed room has a sea facing picture window! You can count waves sitting on the bed itself. The sitting area has an open balcony, from where the sea as well as the setting sun could also be viewed. We liked the place very much and spent remaing 6 days there!
The staff at the reception were very helpfull and addressed all our needs! The lobby and the sitting area infront of the reception are also beautiful, and these places provide a gorgeous view of the sea! The area overlooks a large swimming pool near the sea!
The dining room is by the poolside, and nicely provisioned. We tried the buffet breakfast once. It was sumptuous! But felt that at our age we can not do full justice to the range of food provided here. Nevertheless, I must admit that the food was excellent.
Realizing the limitation of our intake capacity, we started ordering from the menu! Then we realised the mastery of the management of food and beverage department. Under the able stewardship of Mr. Noor, the Manager, they
always prepared food only after the order is placed. And they are willing to modify the menu according to your tastes and requirements! We tried varieties of cousins, and all were equally good! And the same practice and standard continued even when we ordered room service – everything was freshly cooked and nicely served. The service personnel were all very helpful! However, we must single out Lizarani and Kamala who not only looked after our needs very well, but also provided good suggestions when we were not sure of what to order! In one word, the entire F&B team would deserve special praise!
It was an excellent stay for us at the Sterling Puri!
