Nice property with well appointed, properly maintained rooms and courteous staff . Good buffet spread at breakfast. Laxmipriya and Lopamudra at the restaurant and Sushanta Pradhan of housekeeping as well as rest of the staff in general are helpful and prompt with their service. Far away from Swargadwar, but it’s quiet and nice, if you want to escape the crowd. Mr Satya, the manager, is fantastic: courteous, accommodative and helpful. There is one con: Though the property is bang on the beach and you have a full view of the sea from the balcony or window of your room, the challenge is direct access to the beach is not possible because there’s a river stream between the beach and the property. You will have to take an auto or vehicle and drive across the main road to reach the beach proper, which I found a bit of bother. It seems the hotel had a boat service to cross over the river stream, but currently it’s not operational. Otherwise, it’s an excellent stay. Probably a shuttle service every 30 minutes to the beach throughout the day with provisions for beach umbrellas, etc would be helpful for guests and increase the experience further.
