Best place to visit with familyApril 2024
Location: Sterling Wayanad
Property : Nested in beautiful location bordering Wayanad Wild life Sanctury. The property is neat clear and well planned. The rooms and cottages are well maintained. Landscape is beautiful. The temperature in resort was around 2degree less than what it was outside the premises.
Amenities – Swimming pool, SPA, Zip line and best part was Discovery Central.
Discovery Central – Sterling Wayanad own activity centre. This place is managed by Mr Vishnu.
Before I say anything about this place, let me put more light towards Mr Vishnu. He is very nice person and did he best to manager customers in the best possible way.
He is a talented naturalist. We used the nature trek provided by him and it was so interesting.
10 Km Walk with him helped me and my family to know and understand more about trees, plants and off course wild animals. Infact, with him one can walk more without feeling any tiredness.
I requested to have team on return, and he was quick to spot one traditional kerala shop who offered super black herbal coffee.
And at last, we saw herd of wild elephants. (Trip to wayand is not complete without watching Elephants)
Don’t forget to meet Mr Vishnu and go for trek.
Restaurant – They have two restaurants Malabar and Multicuisine. I preferred Multicuisine. Ms Swati’s welcoming smile was super and that makes the day for any visitor, she knows how to deal with customers and offer the best services available in restaurant. All her colleagues were nice and helpful. Their spread and buffet were good with lots of selections.
Front office – Amisha and her colleagues were the best to give me the best offer they can during this peak time of tourist demand.
Suggestions For Sterling Management –
1>The amount collected for activities should be nominal. You could have atleast left the charges for cycles.
2> Please create a height spot tower near to corner of the front side wall with seating facility and one binocular for customer to sit and see wild animals’ movements during night hours. (only for animal spotting and not for drinks and partying)
