My father (89 yrs), my wife, and I recently spent a week at the resort. Apart from the surroundings of the resort (natural beauty and clean air), the staff was extremely helpful.
The resort is located next to a tiger and elephant wild life sanctuary. Early in the mornings we could spot herds of wild elephants and deer near the resort. I have traveled to Finland that claims to have the cleanest air in the world; however, the moon and the stars at Wayanad were much brighter. We could smell in the air the different varieties of plants and herbs that were there in the resort.
The willingness of the staff to take care of our needs added spice to our stay. Despite the buffets already having many different cuisines, the two chefs were always asking us and preparing dishes of our choice and taste. The restaurant manager, who was a fun to talk to, made the experience very homely.
The manager at the front desk was very knowledgeable of the area and helped us plan our week, including giving us small tips on how to reach different places and any dos or don’ts there.
The willingness of the staff to take care of our needs, whether in our room, restaurant, recreation room, or the resort area, reflected on a consistently high level of service standard.
I really thank everyone there to make our stay a memorable one. I would recommend this place to others.
