I had been to Sterling Yelagiri from Friday (8 Jan) till Sunday (10 Jan), with my college-mates. Every year we go to different places. This is the first time, all my friends had a unified opinion "the place is great and food and beverages was excellent". They were quite pleased with Kumaresh, the F&M in-charge who just was so proactive in addressing your requirements, in a customized manner. He was our pick. In my life time, for the first time, an F&B manager called before we arrived asking what would we like to have as we arrive. Now, why this place is good. Yelagiri is a non-commercial place, less pollution etc. Sterling location is good, as most of the limited attraction that Yelagiri has is all walkable. Do not expect the attractions to beat the theme parks in cities. If you want to walk with family, have some fun around, eat and take time off, this place is good. We went treking and that was escellent, total of around 10 KM if you walk from the resorts.
