Sterling Karwar is the perfect gateway to experience the calmness and scenic beauty of both mountains and river/ sea. The view from our suite was soo mesmerising as is evident from the pics that i am falling short of words.
I was elated when our room was upgraded to a suite on the 6th floor . The front desk staff ( parveen) were very helpful and courteous enough to cater to our demands of early check- in and late check -out . Also ,should mention about the housekeeing staff – immaculate in their job.
Speaking about the amenities ,they have a gym,swimming pool ( this requires some repair though),
a huge garden area besides the pool which the russians use for excercise ( the property is immensely popular with russians as they have a work location nearby ,the karwar Naval base ),an activity room with lot of indoor games.
We had opted for complimentary breakfast and dinner which was a great deal as the dishes served were very delicious and as per our requirement
Overall it was a fulfilling experience and a pleasant stay thanks to the staff . Wish i could have extended my stay.
