We were a total of 6 adults and 4 child, with three rooms booked. One of the room was upgraded to Family suite which had 2 bedrooms and 2 attached washrooms, courtesy Mr. Anil (GM Resort) and Mr. Siva Swamy (CRS Team). For those who have never visited Thekkady and assume there is nothing there, please visit soon for Periyar boat ride, jungle jeep safari, elephant ride, kalari/ kathakali show, trekking, spice garden visits, spices purchase, etc. Wonderful destination with helpful staff, located on main road still calm hotel. Food was also customized for us with vegetable oil due to our north indian taste. Swimming pool is small/ safe for small children yet presents enchanting view being on top floor. At a small price, we got nice vacation at Thekkady with all three meals.
