After 6 long years, I was able to take my family on a summer holiday. On my speed dial was my classmate Vikram Lalvani, CEO of Sterling Holidays, my Go To buddy for hospitality. At almost nano notice, Vikram rustled up a rejuvenating 3 night stay for my family. The view atop 20 hair pin bends was breathtaking. The family suite was cozy. The staff led by GM Suresh were affable and helpful. The highlight was the restaurant. The buffet spread was a culinary treat. Full marls to Chef Vijayan and staff Rajkumar, Palash & Satyajit. The Discovery Centre had a few novel activities like shooting water pellets and air hockey. The massages at the Spa were most relaxing and reasonably priced. Therapist Rupa was dignified and skilled. The Resort organized our pick up and drop from Salem Junction through a reliable cab company owned by Sundaram with innova cars driven by Rahuk & Babu who were careful and doubled up as travel guides. A must visit for a safe and memorable family outing.
