One of our most cherished Sterling holidays was when our grandson was just one year old. It was his first holiday away from Mumbai, and seeing the world through his eyes made it an experience our family will always remember.

Like many children growing up in Mumbai, our grandson had spent most of his early life surrounded by buildings, traffic, and busy city streets.
When we planned our holiday to Sterling Goa and Karwar, we were simply looking forward to spending time together as a family.
None of us imagined how special that trip would become.
For our little grandson, everything felt new.
The open blue skies.

Watching him experience these simple joys reminded all of us how beautiful childhood curiosity can be.
Discovering Nature for the First Time
One of the highlights of the trip was watching him interact with nature in ways that simply aren’t possible in a city.
Right next to the resort was a traditional Goan village.
He wandered around excitedly, chasing tiny goats, watching cows and hens, and even gently touching little piglets for the very first time.
The local village children welcomed him with smiles, played with him, and spoke to him in Konkani while running around together.
For a child growing up in an urban environment, these weren’t just fun moments.
They were completely new experiences.
Watching him hold a baby goat with pure excitement on his face became one of those memories our entire family still talks about today.
More Than Just a Resort Stay
Our holiday wasn’t only about sightseeing.
We enjoyed a beautiful boat ride, explored the historic fort near the Karwar resort, and spent relaxed evenings together over wonderful meals.
The warm hospitality, peaceful surroundings, and friendly team made the entire experience even more enjoyable.
But when we look back, it isn’t the itinerary we remember the most.
It’s seeing our grandson discover the simple joys of nature.

Looking back, that holiday wasn’t memorable because we visited Goa or Karwar.
It was memorable because it gave our grandson an opportunity to experience a world beyond the concrete city he was growing up in.

Even today, when we think about that trip, we don’t first remember the destinations.
We remember the excitement on his face, the laughter, and the happiness of watching three generations spend uninterrupted time together.
